If you’re not too keen on crafting, but would like to support us, we are always looking for wonderful people to donate in other ways.
Pick-up and delivery driving - can you help pick up donations from drop-off sites or from other donation sites, and drop off donations around the region as needed? We receive a lot of appreciated donations, and deliver to a lot of our communities partners each month.
Event Organising or event hosting - can you add to our list of regular and one-off crafting sessions? Our crafters are very social, and our committee just can’t keep up! Are you interested in being an event host for crafters in your area? Find a location, set up the events on the Facebook group, attend, and coordinate supplies and/or donations with the storage team
Introductions - do you know of a business, charity or organisation who would be interested in collaborating with us? We'd love to be introduced if you know someone who is involved with them, it's always so much easier to connect with an introduction to start.

Temporary Trustee Required!
We really need someone to fulfill the role of trustee on a temporary basis, as soon as possible. Two of our trustees will be taking some time out later this year for personal reasons and will be temporarily reducing their efforts during this time. We are requesting people express their interest in learning about the trustee role and taking on some of the responsibilities, at least for the short term. As well as governance, this will also involve some of the operational tasks that keep Crafting Threads of Aroha ticking over. Help Wanted: Chartered Accountant
Are you an accountant with a spare hour or two, or do you know one who could help out? When we report annually to Charities Services, we provide our checked annual finance report. While not a requirement, we have chosen to get an independent check by a chartered accountant. This is good practice and supports our funding application. We are looking for an accountant to carry out this check for us now on our report ending 30 June.
