Crafting Threads of Aroha seeks to help connect willing crafters with charity and community projects in need. Joining gets you on our mailing list and gives you access to our storage shed -we have drop-in days in which you can stock up on supplies to assist your crafting. We have knitting needles, wool, yarn, fabric and much more!

Or, if you’re not ready to sign up, you can make items, attach our provided swing tags and drop off at our collection points whenever you desire.

We’re always looking for woollen vests, cardigans, beanies and booties in sizes 3-12 months as well as burp cloths, bibs, playmats and wipes. Quilts and blankets in natural fibers for bassinets and cots are gratefully appreciated.

For adults and children we always need wool beanies, gloves, scarves and slippers. We also love to receive knitted knockers, drainage bags and sustainable and reusable period products (pads). Of course, quilts and blankets for our adults and children also never go amiss.
