Welcome to our Crafters space
Thank you for sharing your love of crafting with us to help those in need!
Our biggest needs
Sometimes we have specific requests from our charity partners, it's best to keep an eye on the Facebook group for these.
If we haven’t put out a call for specific items, but you want to keep yourself busy our partners always have high demand for all of the following:
3-12 month sizes of woollen vests, cardigans, beanies and booties
Burp cloths, bibs, play mats and wipes
Wool beanies for all sizes adults and children
Wool gloves and slippers for youths and adults
Scarfs for adults
Quilts and Blankets - Cotton and natural fibres for babies, bassinets, cots, etc
Knitted Knockers of all sizes
Drainage bags
Sustainable and reusable period products (pads)
Where can I take finished items?
Once your crafted items are ready to pass on, please add a label which you can find here for printing
Our Drop Off points are spread throughout the region, and there should be one near you!
Patterns
We are working on a shared library of patterns that are free from copyright for our members. In the meantime, our crafty community have shared many links to free patterns in the Facebook Group, and the internet is absolutely swelling with readily available and free patterns! If you’re not sure where to start, reach out to the community and they will quickly have you set for options!
Our ready-to-sew quilt packs that can be collected from the storage site on drop-in days come with all the fabric and a pattern ready to take home and sew.
Make sure to check back for our pattern library as we update it, or subscribe to our newsletter to stay in the loop!
How to meet other crafters
Sharing your amazing talents, or your current projects, and/or learning new skills with like-minded folks is fun.
Our events calendar will show our regular community meet ups, and exciting events hosted by the committee.
Our list of events can change frequently, so don’t forget to check back regularly, or keep up to date on the Facebook Group. There might even be pop-up events advertised in the group that happen so fast they don’t make it to the website! (We’ll try our best to make sure that doesn’t happen as we don’t want you to miss out!)
